Hello, I'm V S.

I am a certified instructor of yoga and Pilates and have been teaching movement for over twenty-five years throughout the country. As a professional modern dancer and choreographer, I have studied many methods and styles of movement and mindfulness over the years; including Pilates, yoga, Qi Gong, ballet, the somatic movement lessons of Moshe Feldenkrais, as well as meditation and breathing practices. I now draw from my professional training in all of these methods and integrate them into my classes as is appropriate and helpful to each class. Movement is natural for human beings and I'll make learning these exercises and concepts clear, easy and accessible to all fitness levels and ages. I truly enjoy helping people improve their strength, flexibility, agility, coordination, posture and balance, and love teaching my students to move with more ease, grace, control, and joy!
