In this class, you'll gain an understanding of the fundamentals of writing poetry. Each week, we'll learn about different styles of poetry along with taking a fun, creative approach in developing various poems during class. We will work together on a variety of different topics, such as Rhyming vs. Non-Rhyming Poetry, Poet vs. Speaker of the Poem, Tone, and Imagery. Primary goal for Beginning Poetry is to provide an interactive, relaxing, and fun space for creative writing!
