Who is this journey for?
This journey is for those with some foundational elements of improv, such as Improv 1: Perform on the small screen
Overview
This journey will encourage stronger choices with higher stakes, while highlighting the power of partner work. If you have some foundational elements of improv already, this course is for you! More time will be spent on scene work, while still including short form games. We will work with a broader range of character choices, and the physical and vocal elements that accompany. Eventually three-person scenes can be introduced. Students will be championed to confidently execute their impulses, while keeping a consistent rhythm of exchange and continuing to actively listen for the magic in the minutia.
Camera set-up
If possible, set up your camera so that you can utilize your entire body in the space and be in frame, and use bluetooth headphones and mic to keep technical elements as consistent as possible while we interact in our digital spaces.
